Piraeus Porto Leone

Due to the destiny, the old Piraeus sign is no longer in Piraeus. The city during the medieval ages lost its ancient name and was called Porto Leone. In fact during the 14th century a real lion, of course of marble, was taking care of the port and it was the first thing the travelers saw once they arrive to the old and once prosperous Athens harbour.
